Sim City 4 Vista Affinity
Back in the day, I was a huge SC4 customization buff. I was on all the time downloading mods and reading City Journals.I didn't get SimCity 2013, but I did reinstall SC4 today.
Cheat engine 5.5. First thing I did was set my resolution, but the game only lets you set it to 1600x1200. Quit the game and make a backup of your config file 'My DocumentsSimCity 4SimCity 4.cfg'. Set your ingame resolution to 1600x1200 (max), quit the game. Download a free hex editor like. Open your config file with it.
Ctrl+F, change dropdown to Hex, type in '4006'. It will highlight it for you. This is the horizontal pixel value we need to change. See the table below for a reference I made and type in the replacement values for your monitor. (See my screenshot; the red values are the ones I changed for my monitor). Do the same for the '1200' value (vertical) by searching for 'B004'.

Save the file and start the game! If all goes well, the resolution should be already set to the new values, no ingame changes need to be made.
