So, I did a really dumb ass thing and didn't research the availability of repair parts before I bought a used elliptical machine - a which appears to have been manufactured by Fitness Quest.
The elliptical is working right now, but it needs to be tightened up/lubed and some of the trim is busted up and the heart rate monitor and owner's manual were missing.The original New Balance website where these were advertised is gone and the Fitness Quest website is down or gone as well. I've called every 800 and local number for Fitness Quest and all lines seem to be disconnected. They're still around obviously, but I can't seem to find any good contact information or repair parts.Basically, the first thing I need is an owner's manual so I can see what should be serviced and when.Then secondly, I'd like to have a source for OEM replacement parts when/if I need them. There are just so many manufacturers that have everything made in China and all the parts are unique to those machines.

Exercise equipment is considered more of a disposable item instead of a durable good. Which is silly with the cost of it. Most parts are only available from the maker and once they die you're stuck. Treadmill parts zone is the best I could find. I could keep searching but I'd need a specific part. Though the manual can be found which will give you parts #. But I wouldn't throw too much time at this until you really need to.
