Most people download the Microsoft Project 2013 trial version and expect to find an EXE file, which is not what you get. Instead, for some reason only known to Microsoft, youend up with an IMG file. To install the software, you have the choice of burning it to a disk, or you can use third party software to unzip the contents of the IMG file.
I have opted for the second choice, and used the free software from 7-Zip. If you usethe 7-Zip software, you can unzip the contents to a folder, and then run the EXE file you will find in the folder.
